Leaders are you allowing security issues to develop. Have you allowed the practice of hiring aquaintances and friends of other employees. Do you have people in your company based on a relationship, such as friend from college, former collegue at another job, or she goes to my church.

In companies where finances are involved there should never be anyone with access who has not been hired based on being the best person for the job and being properly referenced and background checks conducted. The individual that you believe you know and trust, could very easily become the thief or even the industrial spy in your company, if things get tough financially. Choosing to hire individuals with whom you have a past can cause you to refuse to believe what is going on right in front of you.
